As a Business and Education professional, Dr. Sidney Okolo is an experienced consultant, strategist, mentor, and professor. He has published in journals and has written two books, both of which have been purchased by major publishers.

Dr. Okolo has spent most of his professional days helping to make business operations solid by identifying a strategy for easy assessment as an indicator for quick action to prevent businesses from going under or insolvent. Now, his focus has turned to consulting work as he engages with business and education organizations in both private and public sectors to provide the best possible workable solutions in terms of conflict management, negotiation, and resolution. He is dedicated to profit engineering and specializes in revitalization of businesses, interpersonal and organizational communications with a strong organization and management background. His expertise has extended to developing countries in Africa, especially in areas of leadership, economic development, education, and mechanized agriculture. Dr. Okolo coined the phrase, “AFRICAN PIES”, which represent “poverty”, “instability”, “ethnicity”, and “sectarianism” in Africa.

Dr. Okolo teaches for several universities at the doctoral, masters and undergraduate level. He is serving as chair for doctoral learners and is a mentor and a course designer at two major institutions. He was an on-ground professor for 3 years in addition to his role as a course developer/designer, and now works primarily for online schools. As a motivational speaker, he regularly presents at schools, seminars, career fairs, residencies, and speaks nationally on the distance and online education.

Dr. Okolo has a PhD in Organizational Management and Leadership, with an emphasis in General Business from Capella University. He has an MS in Agribusiness with an emphasis in Commodities from the Alabama A&M University. He has a BS in Agricultural Mechanization from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, and Certification in Educational Leadership and Change with an emphasis in Teaching Online and Curriculum/Course Design from Fielding Graduate University. He has both academic and field experience in Online Education Management and Human Resource Management.

Dr. Okolo engages in minimizing costs, maximizing efficiency, and improving profits for small and mid-sized businesses; and also in designing, developing, and implementing online/hybrid curricula and programs for institution such as businesses, community colleges, and universities.

He lives in Cook County, Illinois and enjoys exploring new things, creating ideas, reading, researching and developing. He also enjoys enterprising, long term investing, and intellectual discussions. He spends his recreational time in exercising, bicycling, lifting weights, walking, watching news, and working on developing countries’ projects.
